Ekow Nimako premieres at the Wereldmuseum Amsterdam with a work made of one million black LEGO® bricks

This new and largest architectural piece to date also marks Nimako’s Dutch premiere.

A new museum is emerging in Puerto Rico, what we now know as Casa Silvana, a self-managed cultural model, which reopens as the Museo Afro Casa Silvana (MACAS) in response to the lack of an Afro museum on the island. It thus becomes the only museum in Puerto Rico dedicated exclusively to the collection, exhibition, and study of Afro-descendant art.
